Prince Andrew’s living situation has reportedly changed significantly following his departure from Royal Lodge in Windsor.
The 66-year-old royal is said to have moved out of the 30-room residence and relocated to a smaller property on the Sandringham Estate, known as Marsh Lodge. The new home is believed to have five bedrooms, marking a notable reduction in scale compared to his previous residence.
According to reports, a second-hand static caravan was recently delivered to the grounds of Andrew’s new home. The unit, described as dated and showing visible wear, is reportedly being kept in the back garden.
Sources suggest the caravan was originally intended to accommodate security personnel, due to limited space in the main house. However, there are claims that Andrew himself has taken a liking to the caravan and occasionally uses it.
One source noted that he has adjusted to the simpler arrangement and finds the experience somewhat novel.
The shift from a large royal residence to a smaller home, along with the addition of a used caravan, has attracted public attention. Some observers have described the change as a significant downgrade in lifestyle.
A person familiar with the situation commented that Andrew’s current circumstances differ greatly from his previous standard of living, which included access to luxury properties and international travel.
These developments come amid serious legal challenges. Prince Andrew was recently arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office, following allegations that he shared confidential trade documents with the late Jeffrey Epstein.
He has denied all allegations.
If formally charged and convicted, he could face severe legal consequences.
Andrew was recently seen in public for the first time since the reported arrest. Photographs show him walking his dogs at Sandringham Estate, accompanied by a security officer.
